10 Items Found: How many teacher renewal credits do I get for each approved course?All courses, upon approval, count 2.4 Continuing Education Units (CEU's). There are 24 hours of instruction for each course. Health Care Continuing Education courses are the only exception and vary in their contact hours. Register Online Click on the Click to Learn link. - Click on Courses or Orientation.
- Choose the department for your course.
- Choose your course and click on ENROLL NOW.
- Choose the session date and Continue.
How do I record the Continuing Education Units once I complete the course?All completed courses are recorded in eSchool Solutions. - Your Staff Development contact or Principal will create the course and enter your attendance in eSchool Solutions.
- After your attendance has been entered, log on to eSchool Solutions and complete the on-line Workshop Feedback survey. Click on the "My Evaluations" tab in eSchools to see the form.
Can I pay with a Credit Card?Yes. After you have registered, send an email to onlinelearning@wcpss.net with the words "cc payment" in the subject line. We will send you an email with a link to our secure website. Please do not send any credit card information through regular email! We only take MasterCard or Visa. How do I find out the cost of a course?Click on the course title and the price will be listed with the next 4 sessions available for you. How do I find out if a course will be accepted for teacher renewal credits?Your Staff Development contact or Principal at your school can approve the courses. Wake County teachers can also call the Professional Certification Line at (919)858-1716. Anyone can call the Licensure Specialist at the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction: (919)807-3310 Ext "3". If I am currently not teaching, and I want to keep up my license, can I take these courses for renewal credits?Yes. Call the Licensure Specialist at the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction to find out if the course is approved. - Upon returning to work, your Staff Development contact will record your hours in eSchool Solutions for you.
- Complete the form in "My Evaluation" for the credit to show up.

What is the refund policy for Online Learning courses?If you wish to drop a course, the deadline to get a refund is 3 weeks from the start date. You can drop and transfer to a new course within 4 weeks from the start date. Please send an email to onlinelearning@wcpss.net to request a refund or transfer within the above dates.
